We are looking for an intern to support our team as

Intern (m/f/d) Marketplaces Risk and Protections

About the team:

We are passionate about connecting buyers and sellers around the world and creating opportunities through commerce and technology.

Our responsibilities include all Risk and Trust related aspects of eBay’s Marketplace business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who wants to make an impact and passionate to learn and explore new things!

Someone who brings experience/interest in e-commerce, intellectual curiosity and deep analytical capabilities.

Your tasks will include:

  • Performance/KPI management (tracking and analysis)
  • Conduct analysis as needed to assess and track impact of existing initiatives and forecast impact of future initiatives
  • Maintain and enhance policy pages and, ensure compliance and localization
  • Ensure that any relevant comments or reported bugs are submitted into the appropriate reporting systems
  • Gather feedback and ensure it’s passed back to the relevant teams
  • Collection, preparation and analysis of data as well as creating of presentations
  • Coordination of project tasks with internal and external project staff Working in a diverse, supportive and lively team
  • Supporting weekly business performance analysis and reporting
  • Working on projects to understand long term business trends

Your Profile:

  • Genuine enthusiasm for eBay and e-commerce - buying and/or selling experience on eBay is definitely a plus
  • Self-driven, excellent communication skills, enjoy working independently
  • Detail-oriented and analytical skills; comfortable working with and seeing beyond numbers
  • Experience solving problems with ambiguity
  • Very good command of Excel, PowerPoint, Program management
  • Ability to influence and work with cross-functional teams
  • Good command of German and English (spoken and written)
