eBay Classifieds Group is an innovative leader in online classifieds with ten brands that span the globe. Our sites help people find whatever they’re looking for in their local communities – whether it’s a job, an apartment, a sofa, a car, a concert ticket, financial services or new friends. Every connection made or item found makes a difference by creating a world where people share more and waste less. People who want to connect and trade visit our sites because they’re fun, easy to use and built on trust.

Founded in 1996, mobile.de reinvented the way of buying and selling cars with the first online vehicle marketplace, driven by the idea to create something new. As a driver of change for growth and innovation, we became more than just a platform. We are an ecosystem of skilled and entrepreneurially-minded people, a community to unite sellers and buyers. Germany's largest online vehicle marketplace, with curiosity and drive at our hearts!

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as Senior Marketing Analyst (d/f/m).

You will be joining our Finance department and work together with a variety of partners from Marketing, Business, Analytics and more who strive to make the online buying and selling processes for our users even more convenient and smooth. This is an opportunity to be part of that team and to collaborate with us, even across different eCG entities. You will drive exciting projects in the marketing analytics domain and highly contribute to the success of our Marketing team and the company.

Your role:

  • Drive marketing efficiency -> e.g. being the analytics-POC for the Marketing Mix Modelling, collaborating with vendors and the marketing team, driving automation of data provision, deriving recommendations and insights.

  • Make marketing data accessible -> e.g. conceptualizing metrics frameworks and data flows, enabling the teams to work with marketing data via self service tooling, presenting insights and reportings to different partners.

  • Ensure campaigns being tracked -> e.g. guiding the tech and marketing teams to ensure proper campaign tracking, creating campaign tracking concepts and ensuring measurement.

  • Analyse marketing and behavioral data -> e.g. collecting data from GCP, conducting analytical deep-dives to analyze problems, test hypotheses and reveal opportunities

  • Connect people and foster exchange -> e.g. representing mobile.de in the eCG global marketing analytics community, being the interface to our research specialists and other representatives from different domains

Your profile:

  • 2-4 years proven experience in using data to support marketing teams, analyzing SEA, SEO, onsite, email, display and other performance and brand marketing channels

  • Very good understanding of web tracking technology (preferably Google Analytics, GTM)

  • Proficiency in at least one data querying language (SQL or NoSQL-Databases), experience with BigQuery and hands-on experience with one scripting language (R, Python) would be an advantage

  • Experience in self-service and reporting solutions (e.g. Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker)

  • Strong communication skills to share complex insights in a clear and simple language and to partner with your peers and support them in making data based decisions

  • An inquisitive mentality, the ability to switch between micro and macro level and the capability to slice big projects into smaller pieces

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, German would be a plus

What we offer:

  • Meaningful work with diverse, international, highly skilled and passionate teams which give you the chance to make a difference in our customers’ lives.

  • A start-up spirit within an established organization.

  • International career opportunities throughout eCG.

  • Competitive compensation, conference & education budget. We value your personal and professional development.

  • A healthy work-life balance, i.e. part-time work, an additional paid parental leave time, flexible working hours including working from home options.

  • A great atmosphere, forward thinking company culture with several social team activities (online and offline).

We love building opportunities for others by connecting people from widely diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and geographies. So, being diverse and inclusive isn’t just something we strive for, it is who we are, and part of what we do every single day. We want to ensure that as an employee, no matter who you are, you feel mobile.de is a place where you feel safe, included, and that you have the opportunity to bring your unique self to work.
