For our team in Dreilinden close to Berlin we are searching for a Team Lead Software Engineering (d/f/m) within our Private Selling Business!
As a leader with a passion for people and a strong growth mindset you enable the team to deliver technical solutions for business challenges and opportunities!
Your responsibilities / role:
Lead, coach and mentor a team of engineers so that they grow in technical excellence as well as strategic and business thinking.
Ensure that our architecture is aligned with our customer and business needs and is well understood by all partners – the internal development team as well as several outsourcing teams.
Collaborate with all parts of the business to find pragmatic solutions for our customer needs that can be easily and quickly A/B tested.
Contribute to the team's work with clean, maintainable and testable code and participate as well as lead design and code reviews.
We are collectively responsible for the entire DevOps lifecycle from specification to running in production and keeping an eye on our business numbers.
Several years of experience as a senior/lead developer with knowledge of both client- and server side coding - Java 8, Spring Framework and (non-)relational databases as well as node.js and React
Reasonable experience in project and team management
Advanced understanding of design, implementation and operation of distributed services and APIs
Passion for agile software development, product discovery and continuous delivery
An ambition to be up to speed not only in your technical but also in our business domain
Ability to thoroughly evaluate, employ and teach new technologies and concepts
Effective oral and written English communication skills - German is a plus
