The eCG Motors Vertical team is aiming to scale our motors business to international markets, starting from Canada followed by other countries and operates from our offices in Amsterdam, Berlin-Friedrichshain and Dreilinden. As part of the team in Berlin Dreilinden, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and have impact across all our markets by providing innovative capabilities for our platform.
We are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) Software Engineering for 20 hours / week, from 01.02.2021 / 15.02.2021 on.
What you'll do/learn:
Contribute to the team's work with high-quality, well-tested, and scalable code in Node.js or Java.
Work in agile development and continuous delivery process.
Collaborate with other team members and engineers
Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, code reviews, refactoring, standards and improving build and test systems
What you bring:
Proven working experience (1 year or more) as a backend or frontend engineer in a production environment. Please share your public GitHub or similar on your CV.
Solid knowledge of Java or Kotlin, or Node.js
Basic understanding of Rest services
Strong understanding of quality assurance as a task of the entire team to build the best user experience.
You are enrolled in a university program at a German university or university of applied sciences.
You are fluent in English
