We are looking for a Pay Per Click Stategist to join our rapidly expanding team that is a crucial player for business growth in the UK. You’ll be responsible for building out the 1PA strategy for a team of UK Growth Advisors, who will run targeted campaigns across Promoted Listing Standard and Promoted Listings Advanced tools, to deliver strong ROI for our customers and eBay alike. In addition, the Strategist will be responsible for coaching this group and ensuring they are maximising opportunities via these essential features and tools.

The successful candidate must manage complexity well, be proficient at analysing information while thoughtfully weighing options and solutions before executing actions plans to drive customer growth and velocity via our marketing tools. This successful candidate will be the Cost Per Click expert and advance the group's overall understanding of paid search advertising.

You'll be a valuable contributor to the UK Ad’s strategy while providing definition and implementation of the plan to ensure the Growth Advisor team achieve their key objectives.

The CPC lead role is a progressive one. We are looking for leaders who want further to develop their careers by continuous professional development and moving into even more senior positions of ever-increasing responsibility within eBay.

Core Duties:

  • Be he CPC expert and ensure ongoing CPC development and upskill of wider Growth Advisor team
  • Ensuring that every member of the team is maximising the opportunity for our customer by bringing highly targeted traffic to our seller’s listings while also providing a solid ROI for the marketing budget
  • Conducting keyword research and identify trends for the Growth Advisor team to target 
  • Conducting vertical and category research to help identify trends and opportunities 
  • Analysing campaign metrics/data and providing interpretation and suggestions for improving performance to each Growth Advisor 
  • Maintain an excellent level of teamwork by incorporating a positive attitude, being supportive in words and actions, embodying the core values of eBay
  • Lead on new programs and pilots as directed by the UK Business Units teams across key B2C segments to help seller growth and improve customer engagement 
  • Lead on providing upward feedback to the UK BU and GCX leadership team on outreach activity, performance and any ongoing projects 
  • Responsible for a team hitting assigned targets & goals per quarter/year 
  • Staying current with Google Ads updates, Bing Ads updates, new technologies, trends, and best practices
  • Anticipate future demands & develop plans accordingly - communicate any concerns as relevant
