The eBay Fulfilment programme is both fast paced and strategically important to the UK business. By providing sellers with a platform to offer better buyer experiences – the team are making a positive change to the way eBay operates. A core part of this team is the Fulfilment Specialist role. This role is responsible for creating and optimising the workflows and development of the UK Fulfilment program. A drive for results is essential to success and high competency in working within a bustling and consistently changing environment.

The successful candidate will need to be passionate about working in an online environment and be comfortable with the level of autonomy that comes in supporting a ‘virtual’ team. In addition, they should have a strong understanding of the UK market (carrier services, eBay seller tools) and be comfortable with eBays internal systems (Agent desktop, HIVE, Billing tool. Avaya & tableau).

The UK shipping team has a track record for nurturing and developing talent; and this role is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge in a core area of growth for eBay. Core Duties:

  • Process enhancements to the end-to-end seller experience for the launch of new product initiatives for eBay fulfilment by Orange Connex.

  • Defining of fulfilment roles and responsibilities (along with SLA agreements) between eBay and our fulfilment service providers

  • Creation of GCX training material (fulfilment and EDD Machine Learning calculations)

  • CSKB and Help pages content review/creation (fulfilment and retail standards) specifically Guide 1657 - eBay fulfilment by Orange Connex, Guide 1118 - Defect Removal, Guide 1005 - Postage Overview

  • Full ownership of ‘’Claim’s intermediation’’ (End to end Process, forecasting, budget approval from UK finance team, CS Tech requirements, Orange Connex reconciliation process, seller protections, GCX training)

  • Claims/INR/ LDR analysis and deep dive (fulfilment and retail standards)

  • Design of Seller Protections (fulfilment)

  • Create and facilitate weekly CS performance review with Orange Connex and eBay GCX

  • Creation of Fulfilment specific NPS survey (WIP) by working with Customer Insights team

  • Where required; supporting the Brand Acquisition team with onboarding of new large sellers into eBay fulfilment as a ‘subject matter expert’ in a project management style

  • Working with cross functioning teams: UK Business Unit, GSD, Commercial, GCX, CS Tech, Legal, WFO, LPS, Partners (Orange Connex, 4PX, Royal Mail, My Hermes), Brand Acquisition, Finance, Trust, CS Tech, PMO

  • Presenting at the Commercial All Hands

  • Developing close relationships with CS leadership in Orange Connex and our warehouse partners to drive the right outcomes for eBay sellers and buyers

  • Outstanding project management skills with the ability to manage multiple marketing projects at once and shifting priorities under tight deadlines

  • Independent way of working paired with a hands-on mentality and team spirit

  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines

  • Excellent engagement and communication skills are required for this role to aid with initiating process improvement initiatives

  • A strong understanding of Google Analytics and eCommerce view is beneficial

Experience

  • Previous experience supporting a team of Sales, advertising, or marketing professionals

  • Two years of commercial or campaign experience within a fast-paced target-oriented environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
