Customer Service Agent (f/m/d)  Sneakers & Handbags - Authentication Operations

The Team

With innovative and exciting operational initiatives, the Authentication Operations team is a fast-paced and passion-filled team to be a part of. This team has optimally launched watches, handbags, and sneakers authentication in the US, CA, AU, UK and DE in under two years. We are a group of diverse skill sets who make a complete business unit and are seeking a CX Team mate to assist in our customer experience team.

Responsibilities

You will be joining the team to help ensure we deliver a state of the art user experience for Sneakers & Handbags. This new role requires a customer first approach to help eBay’s Buyers & Sellers receive the best information and attention possible when buying or selling luxury Sneakers & Handbags on eBay. You are customer friendly, organised and detail oriented.

The Job

  • Team member of the customer experience team
  • Daily review and record product, buyer or seller issues
  • Own customer queries relating to either items or the experience not being in line with expectations
  • Resolve issues and close out queries
  • Work closely with the Global Customer Experience team
  • Weekly report on customer experience performance metrics and analytics of the Authenticity Guarantee Program
  • Facilitate the understanding of trends and how the experience can be improved
  • Assist in receiving and shipping of luxury items as and when required

Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years experience of a call center, front of house or from a customer service environment
  • Experience resolving multifaceted customer queries
  • Agility, comfort with changing/ evolving direction
  • Strong communication cross functionally is critical
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals on time
  • Time management/ sense of urgency
  • Extremely detail oriented and organised
  • Follow through
  • Interest in Luxury Sneakers & Luxury Handbags
  • Authentication and/ or operations experience (nice to have)
  • Product exposure (nice to have)
  • Language competence in German besides English is a merit.​
