The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support our business users. You will be an expert point of contact for data engineering and analytics.

To be successful as a Data Analyst, you should have strong technical skills and be able to present actionable insights to inform analytic strategies. A top-notch Data Analyst should also have excellent analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and work well within a team.

LOCATION: Madrid (Spain)

Responsibilities

  • Owning and building comprehensive reporting suites in Tableau by working closely with stakeholders.
  • Building a deep understanding of data and pipelines.
  • This role is suited for Analysts who enjoy a cross-functional role and love to problem-solve. We are looking for a down to earth, detail-orientated person who has a thirst for knowledge and is able to form their own fair, holistic judgement.
  • Advise on data architecture, identifying opportunities to better link our various data sources
  • Champion digital analytics and provide basic training/advice to the team, acting as the SME for analytics and enabling as much self-service as possible
  • Work closely with business areas to identify opportunities and ensure the strategy is aligned to the needs of the business.
  • Support other areas of the business with regards to data analysis on a consultative basis when required.
  • Collaborate closely with the development squads, ensuring data is used to facilitate all decision making, providing performance insights and using data to drive new initiatives and ideas
  • Generate analysis and insight that adds real value to the company
  • Foster curiosity, creativity and innovative thinking among team members to look externally, challenge assumptions, and promote excellence in a results-driven culture.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in an analytical or data engineering role.
  • Highly skilled in SQL, ideally with experience of a cloud-based database system, ideally Google BigQuery.
  • 3+ year experience with Tableau Desktop.
  • Experience collaborating and communicating across business, technology, and analytics teams
  • The ability to translate analytical insights into clear recommendations and effectively deliver it to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A mindset for automation and driving data-self-service.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Track record of working with stakeholders across teams & departments, e.g. Supply, Technology/Product, Marketing, Customer Service,…
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast moving, client-delivery orientated environment.
  • Fluent English language skills.
