We are looking for a passionate and collaborative Senior Designer to help create the next generation of eBay design. As a Senior UX Designer, you will design innovative and user-centric experiences in close collaboration with our product and engineering partners. The ideal candidate:


• Works equally well independently or collaboratively depending on the situation.

• Has experience creating simple, engaging, and meaningful designs within complex ecosystems and across multiple devices.

• Understands established design patterns and best practices, but explores new solutions and pushes for innovation.

• Shows strong attention to detail, as well as an eagerness to solve complex design problems at scale.

• Loves a challenge and is ready to help reinvigorate one of the internet’s biggest and best brands.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products.

• Ability to cultivate an understanding of industry trends and communicate your ideas to stakeholders.
• A portfolio that showcases relevant design projects and includes your process, design explorations and final work.
• Experience with Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, Figma, Marvel or equivalents.
• Experience partnering with product managers and developers to deliver great experiences.

• Experience driving design and user-experience for end-to-end projects.

• Fluency with grids, type, color, layout, iconography, imagery, patterns, and systems.

• Hands on experience with concepting, storyboarding, and creating user flows.

• Experience in core design research and crafting insights from observation.
