Ads Guidance & Intelligence group within eBay Advertising is building and scaling out best in class Ads Guidance and Intelligence Platform. It caters to key needs of our customers around seller guidance, pricing intelligence and actionable insights on performance and delivery of advertising products.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a champion and leader with vision on Ads Guidance and Intelligence Platform, and ideate on best in class data science products that needs to be built for delivering on the business goals.
  • Independently lead and drive the projects from ideation to execution by partnering with cross-functional teams and key customers
  • Partner closely with cross-domains like Search, Selling and Buyer Experience to identify and align on key product capabilities.
  • Articulate, define and own the product strategy and roadmap for the Ads Guidance & Intelligence team
  • Prioritize the product backlog by actively soliciting and curating ideas from partners across the organization balancing innovation and impact.
  • Drive the execution on the product roadmap with Ads data science, engineering, interfaces and analytics teams.
  • Partner closely with the Product Analytics team to collect data insights to measure improvements made to your products and iterate on product performance.
  • Be the product champion who provides an end to end view on Ads Guidance and Intelligence products and architecture to help communicate the value thereof to multiple audiences including product/business community & executives.
  • Partner with designers and iterate on the most powerful user experience surfacing guidance and pricing intelligence and help drive seller adoption
  • Monitor industry trends and technology improvements to propose substantial improvements for the platform
  • Articulate and present early product concepts to full launch plans to Ads teams and executives.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of experience with ideally 4+ Yrs Product Management experience
  • Proven track record of driving from ideation to launch of impactful data science products
  • Experience working in recommendation systems and pricing intelligence products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence across functions.
  • Effective in data driven decision making, strong bias for action and "get it done" attitude.
  • Strong problem solving analytical skills, comfort with navigating ambiguity and making tradeoffs
  • Master’s MS/MBA or PhD degree, with relevant technical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical or Engineering background with proven quantitative skills
  • Experience and familiarity with diverse CPC, CPA advertising sponsored products,
  • Experience and domain knowledge in areas related to pricing intelligence, recommendation systems, auction systems, forecasting, measurement and experimentation platforms
  • Familiarity working with search technologies in the context of integrating advertising products
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and interfaces to surface data science recommendations
  • Experience and familiarity with ML infrastructure and data pipeline processing high volume data
  • Strong knowledge of the digital advertising and e-commerce ecosystem
