We are looking for a product designer to join our Payments design team and help craft the future of this critical and foundational eCommerce experience. As a product designer, you will be looked at to develop innovative and user-centered experiences while developing strong relationships with our product and engineering partners.

This is a highly collaborative role, so we are looking for candidates that not only know how to deliver excellent user centered design solutions but also bring others along on that journey with them. This is a team effort, but we want people who can demonstrate leadership through design thinking.

What you’ll do

  • Practice and promote user-centric thinking on your design work.

  • Lead and drive design from problem definition to final execution.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, software engineers, researchers, and content designers.

  • Understand business goal and challenge its requirements

  • Use data (quantitative and qualitative) to develop your design and support your design decision.

  • Build ideation, user scenarios, journey map, wireframes, Lo-Fi / Hi-Fi designs and prototypes throughout the full cycle of the product development process.

  • Closely work with the design systems and accessibility teams to align with the latest design guideline and chip in to its evolution to the next level.

  • You are detail-oriented and chasing pixel perfection while being able to see the big picture.

  • You understand information hierarchy and know how to prioritize information with the clear intention based on a user-centric point of view.

  • You understand design systems, information architecture, design patterns and interaction design.

Key qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on UI/UX design experience in Web and mobile apps.

  • Experience driving design and user-experience for end-to-end projects.

  • Strong understanding of the user-centered design process. Experience working in an agile based environment is a plus.

  • As an individual contributor, hands-on experience of concepting and visualizing experiences through storyboarding, scenarios, task flows, and prototypes at all levels of fidelity.

  • Flexible and have the ability to work with ambiguity and change during a project.

  • Proficiency in the latest product design trend, tools and technology cross platform.

  • Highly proficient in design and wireframing software such as Figma and/or Sketch.
