Being the Seller platform of choice is a top strategic initiative at eBay.  We are committed to exceeding our B2C Seller’s expectations and removing friction from every aspect of their experience.  You and your team will execute strategies and lead initiatives to improve and grow the end-to-end Seller experience, inclusive of Onboarding, Listing Tools, Storefront, Seller Hub, Shipping Experience, Communications and Self-Service capabilities.  You will use analytics and research to build a deep understanding of B2C Seller needs and pain points and turn these insights into roadmaps that drive seller growth.  As a key leader in the Americas organization, you will also collaborate across partners (Product Management, Customer Support, Engineering, Design, Analytics) to align policies, economics and operational efficiencies for the benefit of all of the large and small businesses on our platform. 

Your work will touch millions of B2C Sellers, helping them to grow their business in a frictionless, consistent and profitable way.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and Launch Products:  Identify customer and product needs, assess gaps and market size of potential solutions, analyze competitive landscape, architect test strategies and drive go-to-market
  • Lead the Team: Coach and develop a team of product and GM minded leaders, building culture, setting goals, establishing standards and achieving outcomes
  • Quantify Benefits: Create the case for change through B2C Seller data, analysis of financial and operational metrics and competitive benchmarking
  • Own the Roadmap: Develop roadmaps to deliver the capabilities our B2C Sellers need most, e.g. Seller tools, brand building, listing creation and management, shipping, communications, and self-service
  • Collaborate: Define and lead requirements with key partners (Product Management, Customer Support, Design, and Engineering), championing experience improvements, sharing best practices and promoting standardization across the Seller experience
  • Be Accountable: Define business objectives and measure progress in achieving results; demonstrate strong commitment towards goals and driving complex projects focused on reducing customer contacts, improving cost, quality, customer experience, and delivering bottom line savings

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, with 7+ years of relevant ecommerce leadership experience, e.g. Seller Experience, Customer Experience, Product Management, Product Operations, Product Strategy, Voice of Customer, Defect Reduction
  • Prior experience leading and building teams of 3+ team members
  • Proven experience owning the delivery of strategies, experiences or products from roadmap to delivery in a highly collaborative culture
  • Experience in Agile Product Management
  • Solid understanding of technical solutions used in marketplaces and ecommerce platforms and familiarity with system architecture and APIs
  • Creative problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Product Management or Analytics
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
