About the team:
We play an instrumental role in connecting people with the things they need and love, anytime, anywhere. The Americas help deliver a personalized shopping experience and seamless access to inventory from down the street and around the world, as well as tailored shopping experiences, including customized buying and selling. eBay aims to drive growth into new markets and drive value in the shopping and selling experience through “building, accelerating, and disrupting.” The team is comprised of marketing, merchandising, operations, business selling, consumer selling, and shipping. Our responsibilities include all aspects of the region including operations in the US, Canada and Latin America.
We are seeking a Bus Ops Manager, who is passionate about the Consumer 2 Consumer business and related policies, trust and risk topics.
Primary Responsibilities-
Collaborate with trust/risk, policies and payments teams to define C2C business requirements, conduct deep-dives with analytics team to measure business impact, and identify gaps in current policies/ processes which need to be addressed and design/ implement solutions in collaboration with customer service and policy teams.
Use analytical insights to find hidden opportunities regarding user churn
Deliver results against business metrics that measure policy effectiveness and efficiency
Evaluate and make tradeoffs to balance progress towards business goals, trust and risk and policies and financial budgets
Develop business cases from the beginning of the initiative and present them to executives on a frequently basis
Execute and drive initiatives to reduce seller churn based on current restrictions and policies
Soft Skills required-
A self-starter with excellent problem solving skills with an ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses
Strong communication skills, and experience in authoring business documents to drive cross-functional alignment and to support decision making
Execute projects end to end and partner with other teams to achieve seller growth
Partner management: collaborate closely with the relevant leads in the other teams, crafting alignment on initiative plans
Form relationships within the organization at all levels including senior executives and be perceived as a key player within the C2C team
