The Executive Assistant to eBay’s Chief Growth Officer will partner and manage strategic support in a fast-paced and growing company. This Executive Assistant will need to be an energetic and proactive individual who will also act as extension of the Chief of Staff.  This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs as well as offer solutions while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage CGO’s internal and external calendars, using insight, decision making, and prioritization skills.  

  • Prepare and manage confidential information, maintaining good practice with integrity.

  • Plan and manage events such as offsites, site visits, and executive team events.

  • Partner with Executive Admin colleagues and the Chief of Staff on special projects, events and initiatives.  

  • Coordinate all travel arrangements and accommodations for the CGO, arranging complex and detailed domestic and international travel plans, itineraries and agendas.

  • Create and submit expense reports and compiling receipts for reimbursement.

  • Support the CGO in meetings, managing any action items that follow.

  • Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to maintain efficiency and effectiveness of the Office of the CGO.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners on all matters pertaining to the CGO, including those of a highly confidential, personal, or critical nature.

  • Partner with the Communications team to plan and execute key messages.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated executive suite experience and exposure. 

  • Exceptional verbal/written communication and project management skills, including an ability to communicate effectively at an executive level

  • Ability to prioritize and manage work and trade-offs against critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment

  • An eye for detail, is organized, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues and tasks to completion.

  • Strong Technical skills: proficient in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to handle confidential information with subtlety and tact.

  • Extremely organized with exceptional follow through

  • Ability to create and maintain trusting effective relationships

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels
