The Executive Assistant to eBay’s Chief Executive Officer will provide and manage strategic support, in a fast paced and growing company. This Executive Assistant will have a strong focus on the goals of the eBay leadership team to prioritize and maximize efficiency. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Manage CEO’s internal and external calendars, using insight, decision making, and prioritization skills.
Prepare and manage confidential information, maintaining good practice with integrity.
Plan and manage events such as offsites, site visits, and executive team events
Partner with Executive Admin colleagues on special projects, company-wide events and initiatives.
Coordinate all travel arrangements and accommodations for the CEO, arranging complex and detailed domestic and international travel plans, itineraries and agendas.
Create and submit expense reports and compiling receipts for reimbursement.
Support the CEO in meetings, managing any action items that follow.
Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to maintain efficiency and effectiveness of the Office of the CEO
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners on all matters pertaining to the CEO, including those of a highly confidential, personal, or critical nature.
Partner with the Communications team to plan and execute key messages.
12 + years of executive assistant experience, with at least 5 years c-suite level support.
Exceptional verbal/written communication and project management skills, including an ability to communicate effectively at an executive level
Ability to prioritize and manage work and trade-offs against critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
An eye for detail, is organized, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues and tasks to completion.
Strong Technical skills: proficient in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to handle confidential information with subtlety and tact.
Extremely organized with exceptional follow through
Ability to create and maintain trusting effective relationships
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels
