About the team

Core Technology (CT) is a global team responsible for the end-to-end eBay technology platform. This platform runs our entire infrastructure and all the services that come together to form ebay.com.

As a Product Manager in the Cloud Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for defining product strategy, experience design, development, launch, measurement, and iterations. You will be exploring key opportunities for growth, creating a stellar customer experience, and supporting all aspects of the business. You are dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences and improve existing products that power the world’s largest e-commerce website.

As part of the Product Management team, you bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services & product experiences that our customers love. You will work with Engineering, Marketing, Legal and Finance, to name just a few. If you are excited about innovative product ideas and believe in the impact of technology and services oriented platforms to delight users and create long term sustainable businesses then you are looking at the right opportunity.

As a Lead Product Manager, You will

  • Drive product development from concept to launch and operate in a fast-paced setting
  • Engage senior management to align on product vision, strategy, and execution plan.
  • Define and track product success metrics
  • Prioritize customer, partner asks into releases; deliver using Agile methodology
  • Responsible for all product collateral and communications - documentation, announcements, brown-bag and office-hour sessions
  • Engage continuously with customers to ensure their success
  • Have a natural bias for getting things done, decompose complex problems into a product delivery sequence
  • When faced with problems in a high-pressure setting, remain level-headed and forge ahead
  • Collaborate extremely well with colleagues from diverse functional expertise, different organization levels, and multiple geographic locations.
  • Bridge business and technical needs very well; strong conceptual problem solver to articulate opportunities and solutions.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 8+ years’ experience in delivering complex software product releases from ideation, preferably as a Product Manager
  • Proficient in data analytics & data sciences with experience in SQL/query languages, A/B testing
  • Good understanding of distributed computing systems.
