About the Role:

The Revenue Operations and Analytics role is part of the North America Finance team. The team manages revenue driving initiatives for the region and acts as a trusted partner to the Monetization BU for NA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the Trusted Finance and Analytics partner for all pricing and revenue impacting initiatives for eBay North America

  • Ideate on new revenue opportunities, improve eBay’s pricing configuration through data-driven business insights

  • Lead analytics projects by translating business questions into structured analyses

  • Build frameworks to analyze financial impact of pricing changes and present it to Finance leadership

  • Develop, improve and automate streamlined & accurate reporting. Streamline processes and identify/execute on automation and time-saving opportunities to reduce repetitive work

  • Lead and manage the special pricing program for North America

  • Strategize and evaluate sellers for special pricing, and operationalize it through crafting contracts and implementing pricing using relevant tools

  • Build financial models to evaluate revenue and cost impact of special pricing

  • Build positive relationships with Verticals, Pricing BU, Finance, Accounting and Legal teams to implement pricing changes

  • Thrive in an environment that requires a mix of Analytics, operations and program management

  • Become a Subject matter expert on Pricing and Monetization at eBay

Job requirements:

  • Strong discernment and ability to ask probing questions to business partners in order to build the right pricing strategy

  • Great teammate attitude, excellent communication skills, experience working with cross-functional partners

  • High energy, strong work ethic, willingness to do “whatever it takes” to get to the results

  • Pro-active. Organized. Practical. Solution oriented

  • Passion for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and creativity

  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and meet hard deadlines

  • Willingness to work on a mix of analytics and operational tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Applied Economics; MBA a bonus

  • 5-7 years of experience in analytics and exposure to varied functions within business analytics/finance

  • Familiarity with data mining and visualization tools such as, SQL, Excel, and Tableau.

  • Python/R knowledge a bonus

  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and experience collaborating within cross-functional teams

  • Breadth of experiences and use cases in data mining and quantitative analytic ability and hands-on data analytics experience
