We are looking for a highly driven product manager to join the Search Monetization team and develop the next generation of online advertising products in eBay search. Our team sits on the cutting edge of search and advertising, and we are the biggest contributor towards building a multi-billion dollar advertising business. We have an ambitious mission of reinventing the ecommerce advertising landscape, and you will advance this mission by building products which influence every experience that our consumers have with sponsored listings on search. The Search Monetization business line is a high priority investment that provides an opportunity for you to drive the strategy and make a big impact! You will excel in influencing the long-term product strategy, aligning different teams across the company, and also relentlessly executing the roadmap in close collaboration with science and engineering teams. This is a highly visible role and you will work closely with various teams within search and ads.

Own product strategy and roadmap for several initiatives within Search Monetization
Develop near-term and long-term requirements for products which span search ranking, search engineering and search visualization
Prioritize product requirements based on opportunity analysis to build a detailed roadmap. Communicate the roadmap and success metrics to different teams.
Lead the execution of your roadmap by working with data science, engineering and design teams. Build MVPs, iterate fast and be the champion of execution excellence
Conduct AB tests for launch candidates and work with analytics teams to measure the impact on success metrics
Balance the often conflicting needs of eBay’s buyers, eBay’s sellers, and eBay’s need to grow the advertising business
+5 years of strong product management experience with at least 3 years in ecommerce marketplaces and/or digital advertising. Experience in developing ad products in ecommerce search strongly preferred
Strong product sense - ability to understand consumer needs and figure simple ways to solve the needs
Data driven - ability to sift through substantial amounts of data and make bias free data driven decisions
Relentless execution - ability to ship quality products in a fast paced and iterative manner
Builds strong relationships across various teams within eBay; an active listener and clear communicator; can lead by influence
