Job Description

Looking for a company that encourages passion, courage and inspiration, where you can help shape the future of global commerce? We're searching for a driven MBA intern to join our ambitious and versatile team at eBay!

Main responsibilities are expected to include:

  • Building out customer segmentation in support of a developing initiative
  • Contributing to qualitative and user experience research to refine our value proposition and customer messaging/education to communicate it
  • Working with the Marketing team to align segmentation with a marketing and activation plan that ensures we are meeting customers where they are
  • Tying these efforts into a strategic plan to deliver multi-year organic growth and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Experience with and/or strong interest in developing buyer segmentation strategies
  • Ability to shape data from disparate sources into testable hypotheses
  • Comfortable with a variety of quantitative and qualitative testing methodologies, including surveys, user experience research, AB testing, conjoint analyses, etc.
  • Adept at drawing actionable insights from test results
  • Confident pulling signals from both large, bold tests and scrappily collected observations

Additional personal characteristics:

  • Propensity to roll up sleeves and get it done.
  • Bias for action; identifies what needs to be done and takes action.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. Our initiative is a new and unique one, and the right candidate has an opportunity to help shape it.
  • Ability to get comfortable with key team players and to network over email and video.
