As part of the eBay Greater China Business Management team, this person’s primary objective is to enable scalable and sustainable business infrastructure, operations, and expansion. He/She is responsible for data mining, analysis, risk modeling, and reporting to support eBay Greater China initiatives.

He/She will need to be able to communicate the results of his/her work clearly and concisely to the business partner. It is expected that this person will be able to provide the thoughtful and analytical firepower to drive business decisions.

Minimum of BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum three year experience in risk management or related industry. 

Minimum require that the Senior Analyst be an expert in database record manipulation (mainly SAS/SQL) along with the ability to manipulate large volumes of complex data (mainly Excel/VBA, Excel PivotTables, SQL Server) for reporting, formulating and solving complicated business problems.

Must have the business acumen necessary to perceive risks early, to understand downstream consequences of trust policy, and to efficiently prioritize business tasks with limited resources.

Able to clearly and concisely articulate a series of logical arguments

Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and oral.
