The Finance, Analytics, Strategy Team (FAST) partners with business unit clients to address strategic and operational questions facing the business including user behaviour, supply and demand dynamics, performance measurement and financial planning. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Finance Analyst to join the FP&A team within FAST, reporting to the Head of FP&A and Controlling. You will be a member of your Pod’s leadership team and will translate the latest business trends into accurate forecasts while providing financial and strategic support.

Job responsibilities

  • Own and manage financial models for multiple revenue streams while seeking to improve or automate wherever possible

  • Be outcome focused by defining, forecasting and communicating performance drivers and key insights for your Pod / Outcome team

  • Partner successfully with the business to help guide strategic business decisions and resource allocations through financial models, forecasts and analysis

  • Support our month-end close activities, preparing P&L reporting including fluctuation analyses and commentary

  • Support our annual budget process

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and partners globally and across functions

  • Identify and recommend process and operational improvements within Finance and across the organization

Education, skills & experience

  • CPA professional accounting designation

  • 5-7 years in Accounting or Finance; global marketplace / ecommerce / advertising experience in an FP&A role preferred

  • Proven proficiency in accounting and financial modelling with strong analytical skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel and solid understanding of MS Office Suite and G-Suite

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and as the role requires to partner effectively with various business divisions and levels within Kijiji

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture

  • Ability to prioritize effectively with strong initiative and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed, global organization

  • Experience in SAP, BPC, Salesforce is an asset
