We are looking for an outstanding Lead Product Manager to join the Trust Initiative as the Product Manager for Trust Messages. You’ll be responsible for managing the inventory of Trust related messages eBay sends to customers, designing the future look and feel of these messages along with the content across all platforms, and identifying current send mechanisms and potential migration needs. You will collaborate with multiple teams including legal, design, GCX and analytics to enable success. You need to be dynamic, collaborative, and curious, with a passion for doing the right thing.
In this role you will:
Conduct discovery to understand current state, and define future states
Work with partners to define, build and launch products and platform features
Understand and synthesize data to make informed decisions and monitor change performance
Define product requirements and manage the overall schedule of a project to deliver features on time with high quality
Manage communications and expectations with internal stakeholders
Drive a culture of quality, customer-centricity, scalability, and reliability
Qualifications and Competencies:
At least five years of industry experience in product management or a related role
Ability to think and work independently, demonstrate creativity and deliver quick results
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment
Comfort sorting through ambiguity in order to drive to practical business impact
Work with the larger cross-functional team to define the product strategy, business strategy, operation plan and detailed roadmap
Communicate status and priorities to executives, partner teams, and the initiative team
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams is desirable
Proficiency in basic data analysis using tool such as Excel, SQL, Tableau
Education in technology and business domains – BS in BA or CS or related disciplines is a clear plus.
