Our technology team is the engine behind kijiji.ca and is charged with developing, testing, and operating one of the largest e-commerce sites in the country. Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the automation strategy for the Kijiji platform!
  • Build and maintain automated test suites written with Selenium, Mocha and Appium
  • Define quality metrics that provide visibility into the health of each product release
  • Help to continuously improve development work in all areas (coding, processes, tools, testing, etc.);

Desired Skills:

  • Comfortable implementing automation frameworks from scratch
  • Excels at communicating across multiple multi-functional teams
  • Experience working with Selenium, Mocha, Appium and Jenkins pipelines
  • Comfortable with various software testing methods (Regression, Load/Stress, Code Coverage Analysis, Black/White box testing, Acceptance, Performance)
  • Experience building test plans based on end-user scenarios
  • Excellent trouble-shooting and analytical skills

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years total experience
  • 4+ years writing and maintaining Selenium automation suites
  • 4+ years testing web and native mobile applications

Bonus Points For:

  • Professional development experience with Java
  • Experience in online advertising technology
